Film tint reduces the ultraviolet rays that come into your home, thereby protecting your furniture and home from damage from the sun's rays. A metal coating is laminated between two layers of film which incorporate ultra-violet filters. This reflects harmful heat and glare, and reduces fading. Depending on the type of tint selected you can also reduce up to 78% of the sun's heat by reflecting it away from your home. UV rays cause interior fading of carpets, upholstery and other furnishings and even timber.
Non-reflective films are used when two-way visibility is required or the effect of tinted glass is wanted. They also aid in reducing glare and protecting furniture from ultra-violet light, the primary cause of fading. |
